Well we got an Arizona moving van off and running this weekend.  The truck was really full.  We also had movers in kennewick, WA for a delivery to Oak Harbor, WA on Monday.  We picked up this load on Sat. and held it over for a couple of days for the shippers convenience.  I think it worked out nicely for the crew too as no one wanted to work into the Mothers day Sunday.  Another semi truck is somewhere east coast making its way back.  We had to send Ray down to southern Utah to run a full trailer of furniture and swap out with Richards trailer coming back to the NW.    I think Richard likes it on the road.  Sometimes he is gone for over a month.  The local movers secton is really starting to pick up and careful movers is staying steady.  Careful movers is a local agent of All Star Transfer (movers).  All Star is the parent company so to speak.  The crew is solid and the trucks are running hard, we just hope to keep making customers happy and keep the good word spreading so that we can continue to offer quality moving services to all 50 states.

Beautiful day in Seattle, Wa. supposed to be in the 60′s today, few trucks on the road, but most of the crew is off today, and hopefully they are getting some well deserved rest.

Hey i have been moving all week and I need a place to vent! Is this that sort of place?

Today was another great moving adventure. The boys went to work moving our customers and returned having to wring the rain water out of their clothes and taking off sweatshirts that weight about 20 lbs. being totally soaked. Wearing rain gear is not an option (dripping water on the customers floors and restriction their movements)

Today was a great day – all the customers were well prepared and ready to move . The customers treated our movers like family.

All East Coast shipments came off the truck without any complications, time to reload the trucks and send them back to Washington State.

First day as a mover for All Star found me on a Careful Movers truck, doing a move with Billy for a guy in the Juanita area of Kirkland.  We moved him from a three story apartment to a home in the outskirts of Redmond.  Billy advised me on using a dolly to transport boxes down the three flights of stairs, and then onto the ramp leading in to the truck.  I got to see first hand as Billy packed the truck, and used the siderails to tie down furniture.  I could tell he had some practice loading moving trucks.  It seemed the way you load a truck could make unloading it easier than it might otherwise be.  The move ended up taking most of Saturday and with evening traffic on Highway 520 we didn’t get back to the office until dark.  Dan, a friend who was on a different truck that day, arrived at a different time and had to catch the bus home, as I had given him a ride in.
